About Me – Celal Cekic

Hi, I’m Celal Cekic, the founder of Kara Builds Inc.


I began my journey in the industry as an electrician, learning the ins and outs of building from the ground up. Over the years, I had the chance to work alongside many talented tradespeople and designers. That experience opened my eyes to more than just wiring and systems—it showed me the art of creating spaces that are both functional and beautiful.


It all really clicked for me when I started working on my own home. I realized how much I enjoyed the process of designing, renovating, and seeing a vision come to life. That passion quickly grew into something bigger, and that’s how Kara Builds came together.


Since then, my focus has been on helping families and business owners transform their spaces with the same care and pride I put into my own. I believe renovations are more than construction—they’re about building places where people can gather, grow, and create memories.

As a husband and proud father, I understand how important it is for a home to feel safe, welcoming, and built with love. That’s the approach I bring to every project—treating each one as if I were building for my own family.


When I’m not on a job site, you’ll find me spending time with my wife and our child, traveling, and looking for inspiration in new places and experiences. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and it’s what drives me to keep building spaces that people can truly feel at home in
